With the Payment Gateway Based Fees addon, you may charge for orders according to the payment gateway that you use. The fee may be modified by the shop administrator or applied automatically to the price or total in the cart. If a consumer chooses to change their payment method after checking out, it can also be manually applied.
The plugin provides options to calculate costs automatically, add fees manually after checkout, enable additional fees for a certain gateway or product, or deactivate additional fees for the entire website. Because third-party developers can integrate it, it will provide automated tax calculation and is compatible with WPML.

You can charge an order fee based on the payment gateway you use by utilizing the Payment Gateway Based Fees extension.
The charge can be automatically assessed based on the cost of individual items in the cart or the overall amount, and the store administrator can change the charge on an order at any time. A manual fee may also be applied, for instance, if a customer wants to modify their payment method after finishing the checkout process.

- You can turn on or off additional costs for the entire website without erasing any data.
- Give additional money for a specific product or gateway.
- Fees are computed automatically for every product and gateway.
- Modify the order page’s automatically calculated cost.
- After the user finishes the checkout process, there is the option to manually add a fee to a purchase.
- Option to charge orders created on the admin page by hand.
- At the cart level, establish a maximum amount that charges will be applied.
- Establish a maximum amount that can be charged for a product.
- It also supports tax computation for additional fees.
Three techniques of calculation exist:
- “Fixed amount”: A fixed amount is added.
- “add% to total amount”: This adds a percentage determined by the total order amount or product price.
- “include% in total amount”: A commission rate is used to calculate the fee. The full order money will be paid to you.
- WPML compliant; translation of the charge caption and title is possible (requires WPML 4.2.8 or later).
Jetpack’s automated tax service is currently not compatible with the Payment Gateway Based Fees update. Kindly select the “Disable automated taxes” option located on the Tax tab of the WooCommerce settings page. As soon as third-party developers are able to integrate with the automatic tax computation, we will provide this option.
